HaLLoWeeN

We had so much fun on Ireland's first Halloween. Scott carved the scarecrow pumpkin, I just watched. We visited the great grandma's and the grandparents, ate our pumpkin shaped pizza, and passed out candy. Next year will be more fun since she will be old enough to take trick or treating. I was so surprised how much she loved being in her costume too. I know I am partial cause I am her mother, but she was seriously the cutest dang lady bug!!!!

So Scott decided that he was going to be Jon Gosslin for Halloween. That would explain the god awful Ed Hardy shirt he is wearing. Except he wasn't wearing earrings and holding a cigarette!!! He is real creative isn't he!!!!

Family Halloween Party

For the second year in a row we had a party with all my family. Unfortunetly my older brothers family was sick this year and wasn't able to come. We went to this great pumpkin patch and picked out lots of pumkins that we took back home to paint. Brandon make a YUMMY chilli and lots of other goodies. And of course the kiddos had to show off there adorable costumes. Oh yeah and Brevan rocked out to Thriller doing his moon walk(he is an awesome dancer!!) We really need to try and record it some time, its priceless!!!

Whats new

I seem to just always post blogs when I have pictures, so I thought I would just write what we have been up to. Ireland will be 7 months old this thursday. I can not belive how time flys by when you are so busy. It makes me sad and happy at the same time how much she changes. Our little buggy is like a little steam roller all over the place, and sitting up like a pro. She even gives the sweetest kisses now,ah they melt my heart. And she still doesn't have any teeth yet. I thought she was teething a couple weeks ago but I guess I miss diagnosed. Scott and I are just loving all the new things that she does and are really enjoying having her. I keep waiting for her to get more hair but maybe she is taking after her daddy(sorry Scott had to throw that one in there!!) I love and hate this time of year. I love the colors, the smells, and the cool breeze in the air. But then I also have to remember that I am in the beginning of hunting season. It all starts in September and dreadfully doesn't end til JANUARY. For some reason my husband gets joy out of shooting little duckies out of the sky. I guess I just have to remember that it is what he loves to do and not pitch a fit about him going all the time. He even took me once when we were dating(what a horrible experience that was). Being covered in mud, duck poop, and snow is not my idea of a good time. I can't wait to dress her up for Halloween this year, she is going to be a lady bug. I will have to post some of her pictures that she is having taken in a couple weeks. I hope she doesn't freak out when we put the costume on her. So there is a little up date at what has been happening with us.

Girls Weekend!

Ireland and I stayed at her aunt Courtney's this weekend. She got to play with her best friend Maizie, which will be a little easier when she can sit up. Courtney takes AMAZING pictures so we had fun dressing the girls up for a little photo session. Maizie gives Ireland the best kisses!! Court your the best can't wait for you to come and stay with us...

We couldn't put them on the chair together. Maizie was not quite sure what to think about Ireland touching her.
She can almost sit up fully.

Yes the scratch on the eye came from me. Trying to get her to keep her headband on even though she hates them with a passion. I felt sooo bad because she cried bloody murder.

Baby Free Weekend!!!

This last weekend we went with our friends Katie & Danny to their cabin in the Uinta's. My mom was so kind to keep Ireland for the two nights that we were gone. I thought I would have a break down when I left but I actually did pretty good. I did cry the night before we left but that was about it. I kind of felt guilty because I wasn't sure if i missed her or not. I guess thats because it was a well needed break. Good thing we had cell service where we were so I could call my mom a couple times a day. We froze our butts off but we had a BLAST!! It was so nice to enjoy the wilderness, hiking and riding the 4 wheelers. Ireland was an angel of course. When we went to pick her up she was a little excited to see me, but when she saw her daddy it was so cute. She reached her arms out and whined for him and she wouldn't let him put her down after that. Guess you can say she is a daddys girl. Thanks mom and dad for babysitting your the best!!

This moose came pretty close to us while we were sitting around the fire

The gang!
Aren't we sexy!!

So you can't really tell in this picture but it SNOWED. This was just the beginning it got much worse than this. It was like December size flakes, good thing the sun eventually came out.

NO we didn't wear makeup the whole time.

My B-day

This last Thursday was my 26Th birthday and man am I starting to feel old. Scott thought it would be funny to buy me a card that said Happy 30Th birthday, he is quite the joker.... I worked til 6 and then my sweet husband cooked me a yummy steak dinner and then he brought me home a surprise for dessert. Red Mango frozen yogurt is my most favorite thing in the world. I could eat it every day. Scott was so cute, he took a cooler to work so he could bring it home to me. I only shared one bite!! Thanks so much babe for all the great things you do for me. Love you, your the best hubby ever!
